Firstly, I would like you to think about what literature can mean, and by literature I mean fiction (skönlitteratur) which is what we will focus on during this theme. Watch the images in the video and think about the following:
- Which image fits your view on literature the most? Why?
- What kind of ideas about literature do the images represent? Explain what you think they mean.
- These images, taken together, gives a very positive picture of literature. Does literature mean other things to you? What, and how could those ideas be captured metaphorically?
Please note: in this clip, literature is represented by physical books, but please, remember that it is literature can also be consumed by audio, or digitally.
